Where are you from and when did you start working in the creative industries?

I'm from Aberdeen, I've been involved in music since I was 12. Music has always been a big part of my family, my love for rap & grime stemmed from my older brother. I have been writing lyrics for years now but have been taking everything more serious in the last 2 years.

What projects are you currently working on?

Right now I'm just working on a few singles that should be out before the end of the year, I'm also taking part in the Red Bull Grime-A-Side representing within the only Scottish team.

What is the creative scene like where you are?

The creative scene is relatively quiet where I'm from. There's not much in the way of rap/grime, before I came about it was almost unheard of. In the past couple years though there seems to be a rise in interest which is good but still not enough.

Aberdeen has a rising house/techno scene though which seems to be going from strength to strength.

What would you say have been your career highlights so far?

This is always so hard to choose, personally it would either have to be collaborating with Maxsta on the remix of 'Wake Up' or when I was invited to play the first ever Scottish Eskimo Dance.

We are all about collaboration - do you think this is an important part of creating and if so then how has it changed the way you work?

Collaboration is essential in music, it can help you learn new techniques and styles as well as merging separate fanbases.

Who was/is your main influence?

My main influence has changed over the years, as a musician I'm constantly obsessing over new flows and styles. Over time I guess artists like Kano, Griminal & Lil Wayne were people I respected and listened to.
